HOW DO ONLINE LESSONS WORK?

-
Log-in to Zoom.com at your scheduled lesson time.

-
Use the link provided via email to enter the virtual classroom.

-
If the student is between 4-8, you will want to attend the class with them.

-
Choose a quiet room with no distractions.

-
Use a device large enough for you to see clearly (a desktop, laptop or larger notebook).

-
Record your lesson in Zoom so you can refer back to it later in practice.
Be patient!
There will be a learning curve for everyone as we transition into remote/livestream
lessons. Teachers, students and parents will benefit all from a little patience.
WHAT DO I NEED?

A quiet room.
Easy to hear.
No distractions.

Your instrument.
Must be close to computer connectivity. So set up your space, keyboard, amplifiers, with that in mind.
A strong wifi signal.
Double check with your provider to make sure your speed is adequate for streaming.

A notebook, laptop or desktop.
Phones are too small. Do not use a phone. Also, make sure that your device is fully charged and/or plugged in.
